Our Story
Kominka Nikko Nabeya is a hot pot restaurant tucked in Nikko's Honcho district, just a five-minute drive from Tobu-Nikko Station. Housed in a lovingly restored three-story wooden farmhouse built in the Meiji era some 140 years ago — once a beloved eel restaurant and later a gallery — the space carries a quiet, storied charm. Our signature dish is sukiyaki made with A4-grade Nikko shimofuri wagyu (Kirifuri-kogen beef), prized for its fine marbling, and private rooms are available for a relaxed, unhurried meal after a day of sightseeing. In October 2024, the restaurant was featured on Nippon TV's travel program Kaeru Monday (帰れマンデー).
